Many of our guests come and enjoy a break to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or other events and we are delighted to meet any special needs that you have. We also make it easy for you to surprise your partner with thoughtful extra touches in your room.

Some of our rooms are ready made for Romance & Celebrations with featured beds and luxurious bathrooms and include extras such as bathrobes and CD Players. This includes our Chieftain Celebration Rooms at the Ballachulish Hotel, our Top Deck Rooms at The Isles of Glencoe Hotel and Leisure Centre and our Captains Rooms at Oban Caledonian Hotel.

Here are our ten favourite ideas to make a Romantic Weekend or Celebration that little bit extra special.

1.

Order champagne or sparkling wine to be in your room on arrival.
2.

Send a card or present to the hotel in advance so it is waiting for your partner when you arrive.
3.

Order some new clothes for your partner and send these direct to us - they will be hanging in the wardrobe waiting!
4.

Take your favourite CD's so you can play them on the in-room CD player.
5.

Contact us in advance and if possible we will put your partner's favourite dish on the menu - or make something especially for you.
6.

If you have a "big" question to ask or something else important to say - choose a remote beach, glen our mountain top from our Very Best Things to See & Do - don't forget the champagne picnic which we can organise for you.

Lose yourselves in the Glorious Gardens of Argyll in May

Take a boat trip on the loch or to an Island with or without a skipper.
