This site is intended for the use of customers and potential customers
of The Freedom of the Glen Family of Hotels. It was created and is
operated according to the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland and to the
laws of Scotland.
3. Severability
If any of these terms and conditions become or are declared to be
illegal or otherwise unenforceable by any Court of competent jurisdiction
such terms shall be deemed deleted (to the extent necessary) and all
remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Freedom of the Glen Family of Hotels excludes all liability (other
than liability for death and personal injury) resulting from your
access and use of the site.
5. Online Security
By making your hotel booking on our online booking engine, you are
protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, utilized by most
popular browsers, including Netscape and Microsoft Explorer. Through
encryption, the personal information you enter, including your name,
address and credit-card information, is converted into code that is
then securely dispatched over the Internet.
6. Booking Terms & Conditions
In order to confirm a reservation you must secure your booking using
a valid debit/credit card number or pre-payment of the first night's
accommodation. If using a card number to secure, we do not deduct
money from your card, however in the event of cancellation or amendment,
you must give us a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid charges. If
24 hours notice is not given we will endeavour to re-sell your room,
failing this you will be liable to pay for the first night's accommodation.
All pre-paid deposits are non-refundable on cancellation or amendment.
7. Data Protection
Your personal information refers to the data obtained from you in
connection with the service provided. Your privacy is important to
us and we promise to respect your personal information.
Information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data
Protection Act 1998 and we will do our best to ensure that your details
are accurate and up-to-date. We will use your personal information
for the following reasons so that we can provide you with a first
class service:
a. To confirm, update and improve customer records
b. Identify and inform you of services that may be of interest
c. Analyse and develop a relationship with you
Personal information you supply us with and the information about
your use of services will only be used by The Freedom of the Glen Family of Hotels, to tell you by letter, telephone or email about
